Indonesian President-elect and Great Indonesia Movement Party General Chairman Prabowo Subianto will pay a three-day visit to China starting on Sunday.
China is the first country Prabowo visited after he was elected as Indonesian president earlier this month, showing that China-Indonesia ties are developing at a high level, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said on Friday.
The two sides will take the visit as an opportunity to strengthen their traditional friendship and deepen their comprehensive strategic cooperation, Lin said.
